Each fortnight we have buddy time with Kereru (a junior class). We love our tuakana-teina time with them. On Friday we had tug-o-war challenges. We battled it out in house colours to find the champion - well done Kowhai! It was awesome to see the Kotare kids helping out the Kereru kids!
What would be your top tip or piece of advice you would give someone to be good at tug-o-war?

ReplyDeleteHi my name is Kalindi and my favorite part of playing tug of war was when me and my house colour won a ton and i got to spend some qaulity time with my classmates. My advice is that you should probably just try your best and try not to stop because someone might bump into you.
ReplyDeleteHello my name is is Manoa and the part I like about was when we all did the house colour teams for tug of war and the part when it was boys vs girls.altho alot of people got hurt in tug of war and they were insaulting the team that they won.but at lest it was fun for everyone.

ReplyDeleteHi my name is Summer and the part I liked the most was when we all worked together as a team even if we didn't have many people. My advice is that you should keep a good stance and focus on the rope make sure to not hurt any of the other people.
